For all the fans of the Reply series, there is much buzzing at the moment about the possibility a Reply 3 series to be created.

The previous ‘Reply’ series gained a lot of love. “Reply 1997” created fever around all Korea as fans just could not get enough of the nostalgia-evoking, old school k-pop goodness and satoori dialect. The sequel “Reply 1994” lived up to the level of the original and brought back the heat wave of excitement the first series had.

Now rumours has started of possible ‘Reply 3 as producer Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung are joining hands once again for a new production. However, it is not yet confirmed that they are going to be working on a third instalment of the ‘Reply’ series.

In response to the rumours tvN network said, “It is true that Producer Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung of the ‘Reply’ series have entered plans for a new production. However, we are not sure that this production will be the third season to ‘Reply’.  They are currently recruiting assistant writers, and they are just saying they’re looking for assistant writers to ‘Reply’ season three as it’s an easier way to express that this is the third production for which Producer Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung are working together.'”

Producer Shin Won Ho directly told OSEN, “It is true that we are currently planning a new piece of work and gathering a team.  However, we never had a conference about a ‘Reply’ season three and we have not yet decided if the production we’re preparing right now might be ‘Reply 3’ or another production.

Which was your favourite series “Reply 1997” or “Reply 1994” ?
