Korean Movie ‘Assassination’ breaks records on Korea’s Liberation Day

Korean blockbuster movie ‘Assassination‘ is bringing a lot of hype because of its star studded cast and intriguing plot.

The movie story is set in 1930s during the Japanese occupation, about a covert assassination plot against a Japanese governor in Seoul. The assassination team starring Jun Ji Hyun, Lee Jung Jae and Choi Duk Moon will face off against hired killers Ha Jung Woo and Oh Dal Su, hired to take out the assassination team.

The movie is released around a very special for Koreans date, August 15 2015, which marks the 70th anniversary of Korea’s independence from Japan’s colonial rule. ‘Assassination’ exceed all expectations by hitting the 10 million mark on Korea’s Liberation Day.
